Back for a 5th year, Hanwell Hootie has grown so wonderfully since its’s inception in a few pubs four years ago in honour of Jim Marshall OBE, Founder and Chairman of Marshall Amplification, dubbed “the Father of Loud”. The festival celebrates the music heritage of Hanwell and has put the area firmly back on the music map.
Ask Sally live @ Hanwell Hootie 2017 on the Viaduct Meadow Stage
The response and support from the local community has enabled the 5th chapter of music festival to expand to 14 venues including a new 2,000 capacity outdoor stage; the Viaduct Meadow Stage. We had the great privilege of supplying sound system, backline, staging and sound engineers for this stage.
We love to getting involved with local events and supporting the kmive music industry.Hanwell Hootie has a tremendous fan base now and with the addition of The Viaduct Meadow stage for 2017 the festival vibes we escape London for came home to Hanwell.
The largest capacity site for Hanwell Hootie to date complete with food trucks and a big top tent, we delivered sound system hire, staging and backline. The front of house sound system supplied was a Flare Audio rig featuring X5A tops with Q18 subwoofers all powered by Flare’s new One 204 digital power amp. Digital mixing console QU24 by Allen & Heath was on duty
The music on the Viaduct Meadow stage was a great mix of genres; bands included Felix Hagan & the Family, 485C & Okapi and RSVP Bhangra. All bands received a great response and reaction from the crowd and rightly so.
To the founders, organisers and volunteers at Hanwell Hootie – we salute you! A sterling effort and superb delivery. it was a top weekend hugely enjoyed by those attending, an immense success and an absolute privilege for ACE Bros to have been a part of. Another year passes by and once again solidifies Hanwell Hootie on the London festival music map.
Best wishes all and we look forward to seeing you all there for 2018. LIVE LOUD!
